Dear Diary,
Mum seems to think that not having a father figure in my life had emotionally scarred me. What Poo! I am fine without that <insert cuss word here> man in my life. The kids at school have been sending me frightened looks ever since that incident in class. I don't know what happened but I plan on finding out!

First Impression: My clothing style is very... colorful but practical.
On Second thought..: My life is nothing without color! My wardrobe is like a rainbow.
Overall Appearance: I am a petite girl with naturally brown hair but I have natural red highlights as well. My eyes are brown and I am very short compared to others my age.

Mum knew after the initial shock had worn off that this was no joke. She had seen what I could do.

Gram knows because she herself knew a witch. The others think I am in a boarding school.
What future did your character abandon in favor of coming to Hogwarts?
Instead of studying as a doctor I am studying magic!
How did your character find out they were magical, how long have they known and how did they react when they got their Hogwarts letter?
I knew there was something odd about me, but I didn't know what. I thought the letter had been a joke until I saw the owl.
