Emotional Disposition: Disappointed with the life she’s been born into, but puts on a smile and hides her dark mood.

Negative Characteristics: can come off as rude at times, bad memory, dark sense of humor, can be lazy, procrastinates and sometimes says things that don’t make sense or fit the conversation due to “mind babble”
Conflict and hardship: She puts on an image of sweetness and innocence for her parents and while she is really sweet, she is anything but innocent. Her little brother died in a fire that she started by accident and she hasn’t forgiven herself.
Motivation, Passion and Drive: Allison wants to find love and find out what it means to not have a life of luxury. After her little brothers death, her family was empty of the love found in a normal family. This lack of love drove Allison to want nothing more than someone to love.

Overall personality: Allison is sweet and tries to be nice to every person she meets. Though she doesn‘t trust easily, once she trusts you her trust is always there. Allison is creative and loves to paint but hasn’t since the painful day her brother died. Allison has a curiosity that cant be tamed. Fire interested Allison when she was younger and though she was kept away from it by her parents, one day Allison was left alone. She started a fire that day that burned all of her paintings and killed her brother. Allison refuses to paint another picture and is afraid of fire. Allison can often be described as depressed but acts happy to please others. For an unknown reason she doesn’t like cats or the color yellow.
Diary Entry: 18 March 1793
Dearest Diary,
Though I despise writing in you, you are one to which I can confide in. Mum is having a fit again. She scares me when she is like this. She shakes and she cries and she locks herself in her and father’s room alone and will not eat. I am to be turning ten in just a few days. I am hoping to get no gifts. Mum and father bought me you last year, bound in leather with gold on the ends of the pages. I wish I could be forgotten. Mum loathes me no doubt and should stop pretending otherwise. Father still loves me, though is too busy to show it. What is love anymore? Warren loved me before I burned him. Mum used to love me too. Father told mum not to use magic yesterday. She was having a fit and cast a spell to hang her nice dress, but it went wrong and ripped it right up. I can’t wait to use magic and be a witch. I am alone so I think I might play with the other children today. Mum and Father do not wish for me to play with them for a reason I do not understand. Something about blood…I will play anyways whilst I am alone. The playmates my parents choose are no fun.
The Appearance
First Impression: Sweet, but hiding part of herself.
On Second thought..: very much so.
Overall Appearance: Allison is a short girl (only 4’5”) and slender with pale skin and a heart shaped face. She has full rosebud lips and big gray blue eyes. Straight hair that is blonde almost white hangs long and smooth to just above her rib cage. Beautiful except for the burn scars along her arms and torso and one small scar on her right cheek.

Siblings: one younger brother who died at age six when Allison was eight named Warren
Other important figures: An aunt Ethel takes Allison on a trip to London once a year which is the highlight of the Christmas Holidays for Allison
Reputation: Allison’s family is known for being a high class, powerful, pureblood line of wizards and witches who are prejudice against mud bloods.
Secrets: The death of Warren is said to be from a fire caused by a servant instead of Allison so their reputation will not be blemished. Allison‘s mother is mentally unstable and goes into fits that used to scare Allison but she has grown used to them. William (Allison‘s father) tries desperately to keep his wife‘s condition a secret.
General: Allison is neglected much attention and dislikes when her parents spend money on her.

Specific Questions for Purebloods:
Are there any magical items in your house, how about a house elf? there are house elf servants that were blamed for the death of Warren and there are many odd magical items throughout the Rose house including enchanted pictures, never empty water goblets, a mirror that allows you to see its other half in Allison’s aunt Ethel’s house in London and a biting door knob on the front door to not allow the entrance of muggles.
How strict were your parents in enforcing no underage magic? not very strict at all…that is…if they were to ever notice me anyways
Are there any spells which are used a lot by your parents? they use a variety of spells, none more than any other
Has you character always known they were magical or did they worry they were a squib? Allison was raised to believe squibs were no better than muggles so of course she was worried but not for too long…after all she did magically start a fire at age eight
Does your character have any strong feelings (good or bad) about magic or is it just part of their life? Allison feels that it is useful and should be embraced but feels that it isn’t horrible to not have magic and muggles are just as good as wizards…not that she would tell her parents that
Student Skills:
School Ethic: Allison had some home teaching from her mother until she was eight and killed her brother. After that, her father taught her a spell every few months but her home teaching was over for the most part. Allison loves school because she wants to control her magic so not to harm anyone else and she enjoys being away from home.
Teacher Relation: Allison’s parents taught her to be as active in school as possible and that any thing less than the best is unacceptable. Allison was also taught to show respect to adults and while her parents think this only applies to purebloods, Allison shows everyone older than her respect.
Work Ethic and Diligence: Allison is very invested in doing well in school, but has the habit of putting assignments off until last minute. Allison loves book and treats them as if they are worth more than gold.
Subjects: Allison hates arithmancy and care of magical creatures, but loves charms, potions, transfiguration and defense against the dark arts
