Not sure if it was a glitch in the coding or not but yesterday when I went to add a Comment to a profile
page, I clicked twice on the post and it brought me to Embarg search site lol

Editing to ask a question quickly as I didn't see another place to do so.

So Okay to keep with the Era of the board. I wanted to know if it is common for young girls in the Wizarding World were allowed to run free as we know that Proper ladies in the Muggle world would be accompanied at all times by an Adult female relative Also I seen the thread about Muggle born children can have a staff member accompany them in Diagon Alley. Caoimhe is Muggle but I made her Aunt and Uncle Wizards, would they be allowed to accompany her?

We're presuming that Wizards are pretty much made equal, you do have a female Head after all xD

If you don't want a staff member to accompany her that's fine, her family can take her

Thank you for the response Alyssa and I replied again in the profile comment thing today and it didn't happen so I am thinking it might have just been some weird glitch in the system <-- feels the need to abuse the smiley list <33

Ren! That happens to me to. Every time I add a comment to a profile is takes me to some other page, or it tells me that page isn't valid.

If we're talking about the same thing... I'm working on it. For some reason there's an extra / before index, and sometimes if you do something, it'll only leave the /index.php/topic/61-help-me/page__pid__1174__st__0&#entry1174  part of the link after you done an action, not whatever was before the first /. If anyone can still follow. Obviously /index.php/topic/61-help-me/page__pid__1174__st__0&#entry1174 doesn't exist. Grr. So yes, that's being worked on!

I am not sure if this is a problem, or if it's meant to happen... but when I'm signed out I can see all the forums in the 'Hogwarts' section. When I'm signed in a can only see Gryffindor Tower. Is this right?

Yup that's correct. You can only see your House for the moment because school hasn't started yet!

When it does, all of Hogwarts will open up to you!

I had a moment posting into the Challenge thread with the wall and stuff in the Grounds Forum.  I posted my intro for Halloween, pretty long post, sorry.  Then went back to edit it and add the hyperlink for Cerri's mask and discovered all the coding wasn't accepted.  

Such as each paragraph was bunched up on itself and was only written in < BR > codes and the hyperlink showed the whole keystroke < A href = blah blah blah > link wording < / A >  I'm sure it was a glitch of some sort.  I kept trying to go back and edit it to make sure it wasn't somethng I typed by hand.  On the 4th try it accepted but the link was still in long hand, went back on the 5th edit and re did everything, except the post itself and that fixed it.

I'm not even sure I follow.. normally if you format a post with bb codes and then go back to edit it, you are supposed to get all the bb-codes, but to the forum this gets translated to html... so the moment html shows up for you, something has gone wrong. Might be just a glitch, or we'll have to see if we maybe need to rebuild some stuff, I'll keep my eye on things!

I dont know why, but I keep getting this error saying that I cannot write a new message until some given date and time.... When I click on compose new in my owlery.. BUT.. If I go to the persons page and click send message, it works just fine.. I wonder why.

Hmm, I see your point. It was set to only allow a pm every 2 minutes for novices and apprentices, but the setting got copied into the other groups as well, which is a tad ridiculous seeing as it was purely meant to discourage pm spamming and advertising by newbies.

Hey Ren!

Is it just me, or is there a lot of weirdness happening lately?  I consistntly keep getting "Internal Errors" after it takes forever for the site to load.

EXAMPLE...
I pop in read a few posts, post a few back.  Looking at what to do next and figure I should refresh my own screen to see if I am missing someone on the site or a cbox post.  I hit my browser refresh or even my favorites tab (yes, DMRP is in my favorites bar...) and then it takes forever to refresh the site.  After a minute of constant thinking by my perplexed computer, I get a message in browser that there has been an Internal Error Found and I should contact the host st DMRP.  After about 5 minutes of waiting, the error goes away and/or fixes itself and I can huse DMRP like normal, as it should.

Sarah, I think it's the server. I was getting 500 Errors or something like that. I had it for a few minutes last night as well as this morning and evening. It happens every so often, affects the main DM too.

Obviously I can't do anything about it, but it's not just you.

It's because we've been under massive spambot attention the past few days. I think I've deleted about 30 of the little buggers already and each time I manage to get online more of 'em are there! I'll see what I can do to ban them more permanently because they just keep coming back   I wish "delete member" came with options like "ban ip too?" and "ban username as well?"

Whew, not that I'm excited by Spamicus Alottus, but I am glad it wasn't me.  I was beginning to think that I need to reload my system.
