[Sylverster Kelestral]

Sylverster did a twirl as she skipped up the stairs, two at a time, feeling especially cheerful that day. She'd woke up that morning and received a letter from Deuven, telling her about his days at his own school. Though she wished that he would be in the same school as her, but his words and his stories about his days at school cheered her up. He told about how he had tried climbing up a tree and ended up getting pecked by some birds that were on the trees. Sylverster laughed out loud, shaking her head. She loved climbing trees, but she'd always look for signs of any inhabitants that would attack her if she were to do so.

Just then, she heard a low humming and she turned around, curious, but then it stopped. Shaking her head, thinking that it was just a hallucination, she turned back to the stairs and climbed up, reaching the third floor. She walked through the hallways, singing a song that she wrote, still in a good mood.

The humming was there again, and she stopped abruptly, looking around, wondering if she heard wrongly again. "Perhaps you should take a look over there," A voice said and she looked up, facing a portrait with a young boy. He had a deep shade of red hair, piercing green eyes and an arrogant smirk. She stared at him, confused and it was then that he smiled. She was struck by how beautiful that smile was, and she wondered if it was right for her to say so. "Just go and take a look," He said and with a knowing smile, walked out of his portrait before she could say anything.

"Thanks?" She whispered to no one in particular. Perhaps it was a creature of some sorts, she thought to herself, and she turned the corner, back to where the stairs were. "Come on out, wherever you are!" She cooed, bending down to take a look around. "Come out now," She sang, smiling, thinking about how foolish she'd look if anyone happened to see her.

She heard footsteps behind her and she hurriedly stood up, embarrassed. "I - I wasn't doing anything," She tried to clarified, but the words stumbled as she said them, blushing a deep shade of red.
