Eileen wearily made her way down to breakfast in the Great Hall. She was uncommonly tired, and was therefore more lethargic than usual. Last night was full of dread and the nightmares seemed to only increase as the night went on. What could possibly have been on her mind to warrant such terrible dreams? Eileen could not fathom the cause.
Eileen rubbed her sleepy eyes as she walked through the doors to the already noisy Great Hall. She hoped the pumpkin juice would wake her up, for this was no way to be throughout the day. Classes were starting to get a little easier, but it was by no means without the everyday trials. She doubted very strongly that the professors would allow one to sleep in class, even if they knew of her plight. No adult, or even student, would excuse her for such a thing, and Eileen was not about to deny the consequences if she did fall asleep in class. For one, she would not know what was going on in class, and would most likely fail the assignment.
Deciding that she must be tough and deal with it, Eileen sat down and drank some pumpkin juice. It was not as potent as coffee would have been, or so she had heard from her father and some of the people at the inn, but it was sufficient to shake part of her groggy state. Perhaps all she needed was food?
Eileen hoped that her friends would join her soon. She was sitting alone, and she did not wish to sit there long in such a state. More likely, she would fall asleep right there, and she would be most embarressed.

Breakfast in the Great Hall! Lisette loved it. She loved feeling that she belonged, even if it was inevitable to be sorted into a house. She was part of Slytherin. She was in a group!
Lisette grinned slightly as she silently walked into the room. She stopped smiling when she realised that not a single Slytherin was present yet. A few older students were seated, but they were in the other houses.
The only other girl her age present was Eileen.
Lisette shivered a little at the memory. She remembered the mixed feelings she'd experienced when she literally bumped into Eileen at the library. Lisette had been horrified that she'd be rejected because of her house, but then relieved that they didn't push her away and exchanged a few words with her before some bossy fourth-years kicked them out.
Lisette got the courage to quickly eat her breakfast before shyly strolling up to Eileen with a quiet,"Hi."
While waiting for Eileen to answer, Lisette uncomfortably noticed that Eileen was quite tired. Her eyes were weary, and she didn't seem to be capable of speech.
"Are - Are you alright?" She added, just to be sure.

Eileen lifted her head from her meal to see Lisette. A smile stretched across her weary face as her eyes feasted on her Slytherin friend. She was quite surprised, actually, that the girl had come up to her, not that she minded. In fact, she was delighted. It was certainly not uncommon for friends in other houses to join at the tables to visit and chat.
"Are - Are you alright?"
Eileen had assumed that her weariness was obvious, but she had not expected anyone to comment. She nodded, and finally said. "Oh, yes. I'm just a little tired. I had terrible nightmares last night. First, I scolded one of the sixth year Gryffindors about making fun of an owl that ran into a glass, and then I ended up in a duel with said sixth year. From then on, all night, it was a flash of green light and waking in some place I can't really describe. For some reason, I kept seeing that owl and sixth year, all throughout the dreams."
It did feel a little better to eat and drink her breakfast. Her tiredness began to dissipate, but it was not completely gone. Eileen rubbed her eyes again, and drank some more pumpkin juice. It seemed to do the trick before, and it was definitely helping now.

"Well, then..bye!" Lisette hastily called, before scooting off. It wasn't that she didn't like Eileen(no! Eileen seemed very nice) or that she was unfriendly, it was just that she didn't feel quite comfortable. She thought that Eileen must have felt a bit awkward, telling Lisette her problems all in one go. She just hoped that the Gryffindor girl wouldn't think she was unsocial and cruel.
A quiet walk around Hogwarts should cheer me up,thought Lisette. So that was exactly what she did! She gently strode out of the Great Hall after taking one last glance at Eileen to make sure she was alright. Lisette didn't pay enough attention to closely look before turning around and trudging on.
The rest of the walk took her through classrooms and places that didn't feel quite friendly, through dangers(she got the feeling of Peeves being quite, quite close...) and places she'd never seen before. When prompted to choose between 2 paths, Lisette chose one by chance in her half-conscious, half-daydreaming state and then walked on.
After a good 25 minutes of walking around aimlessly, she decided enough was enough and proceeded to head back to the Great Hall. After nervously walking around and trying desperately to recall what long and twisted path she had followed, Lisette slumped against the nearest wall and admitted the truth:
She was lost.
