Conflict and hardship: Her family life is not as tight knit as she has seen from others. Her mother is always floating around the house commanding the servants and her father is always away at work. She might see him once or thrice a week and if she is lucky they will converse. Otherwise she is showered with gifts from him to keep her happy.

Motivation, Passion and Drive: to one day be a great witch, to make her father proud and to achieve her dream to help people as a healer

Overall personality: Adelia is a very social person, she loves to meet new people, though those she does socialize with are female. Her father is very strict when it comes to males and as such she has never been aloud around any besides her mothers best friends son and her brothers - both younger. She is very loyal person and loving and friendly. She would do anything to help if she could, but like everyone Delia has a set of bad traits. For instance she is used to being called beautiful, her father has always boasted that his daughter is the most beautiful out there, and by now even if she wasn't she would believe she was. So its easy to say she is very vain though she tends to hide it well when she wants to, she is also very spoiled, she expects to be allowed anything she asks of her father or mother.

Diary Entry:

Dear Diary,

Its been a while since I last wrote, but I have been so busy. Mother finally got me a tutor for magic instead of just reading and writing. I can't really do magic yet but Potions is very interesting. My tutor Mrs. Sandalwood has said I have promising talent for the subject! On to more great news, I finally got my hogwarts letter, I got it just the other day, the day after my 11th birthday. I was very happy, my parents even hugged me, that's a rare feat in itself.

Unfortunately only the servant can take me to Diagon Alley. Mother is busy making arrangement for my going to school party, even though I told her I could wait if she went. Mother didn't hear me though, Lilah has been assigned to take me to the Alley, I don't mind I do love Lilah, she's been with us since I was a baby, she was the one who took the most care of me. Anyways I must be going, its time for my reading and writing studies.


The Appearance

First Impression: A natural Beauty is a thought that goes through most their thoughts.

On Second thought..: they also tend to see her as a clam and helpful individual.

Overall Appearance: Long slightly wavy light honey brown hair that can almost appear blond at times. It seems to darken the older she gets, she expects it to be a darker brown one day, just like her mothers. Her eyes are a beautiful bright green and almond shape and she stands at a average 4'11.

Handle Money: Well, she can, but only to the since that she can pay for things and knows the value of it, she doesn't really understand the mathematics surrounding it. Say the shopkeeper told her it cost three galleons well she knows what a galleon is, now say he asked for a galleon a she only had sickles with her, she wouldn't know how many to give him.


The Family History

Parentage: Guenevere Lillian Bones - She is not much of a mother in the since of nurturing and listening but she still cares for her children. She is a busy women caring for the manor alone most the time as her husband is always away at work.

Henry William Bones - A hard man who thinks work is above anything else. He is a welthy Pureblood and probably didn't need to work in the first place but he likes working and making more money for himself and his family. He also finds pride in his beautiful daughter but he is hardly there for his children.

Siblings: three, William, John, and Amalie Bones.

Other important figures: The Servants for one, but one over all is Lilah, the servant who has been with them since her birth and has been more of a mother to her then her own.

Reputation: They are seen as a happy family that wants for nothing and has a beautiful daughter three other perfect children.

Secrets: They don't really have anything really big, expect for a squib on her mothers side, and a uncle on her fathers side who went bad and was executed before her birth. Her great great grandmother Mary Bones was killed by muggles for being a witch back in the 1600's.

Are there any magical items in your house, how about a house elf?: Oh yes, there are plenty of house elves, but there are also a few human servants, they are of course there on their own will and paid a fair amount. As for magical items, of course, there is nothing but.

How strict were your parents in enforcing no underage magic?:pretty strict, they allow a fair amount and did let her try there wand but only to make sure she had magic. besides that they allowed her to practice potions before school started with a tutor.

Are there any spells which are used a lot by your parents?:Cleaning charms, her mother uses levitation charms a lot. As for her father she does not know, she has only seen him use magic a few times and they were all simple summoning charms.

Has you character always known they were magical or did they worry they were a squib?:She was pretty confident she was always magical, and when she was 5 she made the windows in the house shatter when she wasn't allowed something, so she never really worried about it.

Does your character have any strong feelings (good or bad) about magic or is it just part of their life?:they love magic, its always been a part of them and they don't know what they'd do without it.


Student Skills:

School Ethic: She has not been to a school before but she has had tutors at home. Mostly to reach some books on the subjects but with Potions she has recently gotten a tutor - she was almost 10 when she got the tutor for potions - and is said to excel in it. She looks forward to being allowed to attend practical school, with students she can get to know.

Teacher Relation: Delia has been raised to respect her elders, talking back is something she wont and physically couldn't do it is so integrated into her mind. She has been surrounded by adults and tutors her whole life and professor are not that different from Professors.

Work Ethic and Diligence: She has always been a organized person, and she has been learning to write since she was about five. She has come a long way, her writing is elegant but yet there is still room for improvement. Sometimes she has problems with spelling and grammar but she is still learning at home from a tutor who is very impressed with her grasp of the subject.


Subjects: Well she already loves Potions and she does like to read about history and charms - which is something her mother is proficient at. The one thing she has never been wonderful with understanding even just reading about it is transfiguration and muggle studies.


Where don't you want to be: Slytherin - Its not really that she cares, its her parents do not like the house at all.
