The final step in becoming a student on DMRP is to fill out and post your Character Card. Below we posted the entire form and give some examples on what is meant on the various questions.
To make things easy, when you open a new topic in this forum, it will already be formatted with a blank Character Card. You just have to fill it in. After you posted, your card will be reviewed. If there's anything you need to change, you will be notified of this. Once your character card is reviewed and accepted, it will be moved to the 1st year students subforum for you, and you will be sorted into your house.
Don't forget to remove this text and any of the other hints or notes below before posting your Character Card!

The Family History
While death was a common occurrence during the time, it was mostly as a result of disease - many orphans or parents killed by super dark wizards doesn’t make a lot of sense. This is long before Voldemort or his followers and there are no current powerful dark wizards in the wizarding world. Also your character is interesting enough if their entire family is alive.Parentage: Who are your parents? What are they like?
Siblings: How many siblings do you have, what are their names?
Other important figures: Who else outside your direct family (parents and siblings) is important to your character? Why? Maybe an uncle, someone in the village etc. Your caharcetr would not have a boyfriend/girlfriend
Reputation: What is your family known for? How are they seen by neighbours, village, other wizards etc
Secrets: Does your family have any skeletons in the closet? Any secrets that are not talked about? Any uncle in shady business that is not welcome anymore?
General: Any other things you wish to disclose about your family that does not fit into any of the above categories.
The Wizard Information:
Wand: which wood is your wand made of, and what is it's core?
Pet: are you bringing a pet to Hogwarts? What species are they, what's their name? When did you get them?
