Social Class/father’s occupation:Middle-class. Her grandparents don't work(they're too old) but they have enough money for what they need.


The Personality

Emotional Disposition: Normally quite calm. Doesn't get excited easily.

Positive Characteristics: Always thinks of others before herself, tries to relate to other's feelings instead of scorning them(even when she knows she can't)
Negative Characteristics:
Boastful, over-analyses most things, forgetful, clumsy
Conflict and hardship: Her grandparents want her to uphold the Heartstone tradition that all the females must be perfect lovely ladies and all the males must be real gentlemen. Lisette isn't much of a rebel, but doesn't really like the stereotype her ancestors carved out for her.
Motivation, Passion and Drive: She wants to achieve being a successful witch, who is remembered long after her death. Her passion/talent is singing, though she goes quite red if you mention it. Her motivation is that her grandparents praise her(she knows most of the time they don't mean it, but still)and tell her about all the choices open to her.
Motto or catchphrase: "I don't know what you think about magic, but to me it's just colours that come out of pointy sticks."
Overall personality: Lisette is a good friend, but is very boastful. She always thinks of others before herself, but analyses everything quite too much, looking at life as one big scientific exhibition. She stands up for what she believes in, but hates being the centre of attention.
Diary Entry: Today I received my letter. The first clue was the stench of owl droppings when I awoke. There were no other clues, as I immediately rushed off to the table and ripped open the letter excitedly. I scanned the words, not really taking it all in, and refrained from screaming as I took the letter and knocked on my grandparents' room. After way too much hassle and bother for my liking, they finally realised what was going on and gave me a hug.


The Appearance

First Impression: Lisette tries to look better than she really is, which can be annoying.
On Second thought..: Lisette boasts quite alot, but she seems alright, since she looks friendly enough
Overall Appearance: Lisette has brown and blonde hair, and seems to think a lot for someone of her age. She has a thin scar running across her collarbone. Lisette is quite tall for her age, and looks more like a teenager than an 11 year-old. She doesn't look it, but her clothes are in reality very dirty. Lisette's eyes are dark green, almost black.

The Family History

Parentage: Lisette's actual parents were Maylina Heartstone and Geromin Heartstone. They died in an accident, but she has no recall of them.
Siblings: Lisette has no siblings.
Other important figures: Her grandparents Merilette Heartstone and Kinstance Heartstone. They taught her everything she needed to know. They are like parents to Lisette. She is extremely close to them, but they seem to be a bit more strict than more 'modern' parents.
Reputation: Lisette and her grandparents are the last living descendants of the Heartstones, so most people expect her to carry on the family tradition and make the man she marries change his last name. Lisette herself thinks that it is ridiculous, but does not voice her opinion.
Secrets: Not any that Lisette knows of, but Merilette and Kinstance know of many, for instance: one of their ancestor's was an evil mass-murderer with his name changed; another had a life sentence in Azkaban for framing another person of a murder which would've resulted in the other person getting a life sentence in Azkaban and a great-great-uncle who traded illegal magical artifacts.
General: Every single member of the Heartstone family has had an allergy to cats.

Are there any magical items in your house, how about a house elf? No magical items in Heartstone Manor, but there are two house-elves, Mareese and Herla.
How strict were your parents in enforcing no underage magic? Lisette's grandparents are extremely strict on underage magic. Even the tiniest bolt of sparkles if you're gives you a punishment.
Are there any spells which are used a lot by your parents? Merilette and Kinstance mostly use spells for housework, though a charm or two occasionally helps to spice up their lives.
Has you character always known they were magical or did they worry they were a squib?Lisette always knew she was magical.
Does your character have any strong feelings (good or bad) about magic or is it just part of their life? Lisette thinks magic is just a part of life.


Student Skills:

School Ethic: The only teachers Lisette has ever met are her grandparents, and they are such good teachers but very strict. However, she knows it is only because they want her to learn, so forgives them. Lisette quite enjoys learning.
Teacher Relation: In a bad mood, Lisette will not listen and be highly irritable, but in a good mood will show respect and pay attention.
Work Ethic and Diligence: When Lisette is bored she will fiddle with the pages of her workbook but normally keeps it very clean. She has neat handwriting but gets tired if she has done a lot of writing and may write messily.
Subjects: Lisette would like Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, Astronomy, Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Flying, and Muggle Studies. She would not like Divination, Herbology, Arithmancy and Ancient Runes.
Where don't you want to be: Hufflepuff. Lisette believes that being clever, being cunning and being brave are better characteristics than being loyal.
