Education Act 16 of DMRP Dictates that:

• You are limited to one student account per year*
  
• Off topic is only allowed in designated areas.
  
• You keep PG-13 rated content to clearly marked PG-13 rated areas. The rest of the board maintains a PG rating
  
• You don't double post: Use the edit button
  
• You do not share your password with anyone, this means you cannot pass your discarded account onto somebody else
  
• You do not advertise. This includes sending emails or private messages from this board to our members.
  
• We have a report button. Use it. Do not start fights or arguments Out of Character, if you believe someone is crossing a line, hit the report button. When you are not staff, don't act like you are, report people instead of taking action yourself.
  
• Keep your language civil.

The following has no place on DMRP:

• Sexually explicit text.
  
• Discussion of excrement or related subjects
  
• Promotion of adult/child sexual relationships
  
• Incest
  
• Cutting or any other form of self-mutilation
  
• Discussion/action of violence/illegal activities
  
• Child Abuse. This excludes the Headmasters right to hang students by their ankles in the Dungeons.

* If you want to play more than one character in the game, each new character will also start in first year like everyone else. Therefor, your first character will have to be a second year before you can start a new first year. You can not have two characters in the same year group. Any question regarding accounts can be either submitted with the contact form or through pm.

Education Act 17 of DMRP Dictates that:

• Your character is not some kind of mutant half-breed Veela Giant. Keep it realistic.
• You may use an image to visually represent your character. Face Claims however, are not acceptable.
• Your character card can contain no more than 3 images. Your character card topic no more than 6. Any additional images for your character can be added to the "magical me" tab in your profile. If you need an image to display what your character looks like you obviously did something wrong. Write it out. No, we don't really need to SEE what your siblings look like either. Using no images at all is perfectly acceptable.
• Your character starts at the age of 11, and according to both Wizarding Law and the simple facts of growing up, will have no extensive magical knowledge or spell practice. Children do not yet control their magic, that's why they come to Hogwarts.

Education Act 18 of DMRP Dictates that:

The chatbox is completely out of character, professors do not need to be addressed as professor and conflicts between characters are not conflicts between RPers. The chatbox is for general chat which does not have to be remotely related to DMRP but keep it clean please.

Education Act 19 of DMRP Dictates that:

signatures may only contain a link to your character card, no banners in any way. Your signature will instead be filled with icons you will earn by following your classes and participating in events. You can add a post to your Character Card for banners if you wish, or you can add them to your Magical Me page, located in your profile.
