The Basics:

Not available at the present time.. That is to say, no portraits of just me, but plenty with my family. If you could figure out which one I was.

Full Character Name: Toren Brinhal Gawain Mirdin Dunwiddik
Likes to be called: Toren, or Tor
Birthdate: February 10th
Age: 11
Residence: Bria, on the shores of Lake Aber. Live in a small chateau on the waterside, with Mom, Dad, and all siblings and animals.
Blood: Both parents are from Wizarding Families, but Dad is a squib.
Social Class/father’s occupation: Father owns half of the towns businesses.

The Personality

Emotional Disposition: Normally he is smug as a bug. He sees the good in everything.
Core Value: Truth
Positive Characteristics: Driven, Socially normal, Friendly, Happy
Negative Characteristics: Wont listen when feels attacked, Can become rude without provocation, forgetful
Conflict and hardship: For the most part he knows exactly who he is, but that comes with a price. He can become withdrawn from some ideas or topics, because he is sure of what he knows. His other problem is while he grew up knowing most of the town children due to seeing them quite often when visiting his father, he was unable to make any real friends because his family wanted to keep what they were secret. That is not the biggest hardship though. The biggest one is dealing with the loss of his older sister the past year when she became sick at a local event. Her parents wanted to keep their secrets, and let her suffer instead of taking her to a healer in worry that someone in the town might think they were different, as the illness was something that many had seen, and none had known a cure for.
Motivation, Passion and Drive: Toren is motivated from a deep desire to be great. As a younger child he was told by his parents that he would do great things, and as the oldest male, he knows that taking his fathers place is what is in store for him, and he wants to become great like his dad.
Motto or catchphrase: family motto: Buaidh no bàs. Personal Motto: Better me than you
Overall personality: Trying to keep the peace in a family where there is chaos is something he is glad he is not old enough to have to do. He likes to play with the jokes, and laugh and smile along. He has also taken blame for some things that have happened, because he figures his parents will not punish him as much because he is the oldest boy, so he protects who he can. Another thing that makes him quite fun, is that he is a very friendly person. It is hard to find him yelling at someone, the worst he will do is just ignore you or make faces.
Diary Entry: Wow... I cannot believe my luck. Today mother came to me before the cock crowed and told me I could stay in bed. No helping in the garden for me. I wonder what I did to deserve this treatment, as she also brought me breakfast in my room. One idea that has come into my head is that for no apparent reason my parents saw fit to move me into a smaller room in the house. I still have not found out the reason behind this, but I do not mind it much. This room has a bay window that I like to sit and read in. Anyways, slept in, had breakfast in bed, and tonight the family is going to the towns fairgrounds for a small festival.

The Appearance

First Impression: He looks like a boy who has come from a traditional family.
On Second thought..: You may be right. He does like traditional Scottish things. One thing is he likes his kilt. And he does like tradition. Things that are constant are good.
Overall Appearance: Toren has dusty brown hair with natural lowlights. He prefers to keep it short, although his father would prefer it to be longer. His eyes are like a storm cloud during the peak of day. He has a few freckles from the long hours of sun he normally gets on a normal day. You probably will not notice it, but Toren has a faint scar on his leg from helping in the garden, as well as a small barely noticeable limp from when he injured his knee playing. He loves to wear his kilt, because he likes its breathability, although he is not completely affronted to wearing newer fashions.

Basic Skills:

Can your character:

Read: Quite well
Write: Fairly well
Handle Money: Not the best. Once got scammed out of money because the other coin was bigger.

The Family History

Parentage: Treffidan Carpathin Edouar Dunwiddik (Father) and Llwadyn Ganoslal Dunwiddik (Cladasham m.)(Mother)
Siblings: 4 Glallwyan (18), Sioraphina (11 d.), Dwuinda (10), Daniell (5), Jyadin (1)
Other important figures:
Baron William McLaughran Daniel Brumhill Dunwiddik (grandfather), Madame Celestiana Morgrim "Morgan as everyone calls her" Dunwiddik (grandmother), Cormac Eugene Cladasham (Grandpa) Ganoslal Dwuinda Cladasham (grandma)

Treffidans siblings: General William S. Dunham (Americanized), Gahorg L. Dunwiddik (d. bachelor died in France in accident) and sister Mariana Celeste Midinskiy (Married lives in Eastern Europe with husband Angie Midinskiy with children Olga and Mary.)

Llwadyns siblings: Sarah P. Cladasham (single) and Eugene S. Cladasham (single)

While normally grandparents would be high on the list, the second most important people are the McDougalls from down the lane. They had been like a surrogate family when his parents had to be away for business, as his father sometimes needed his mother to be his nurse on long trips. The kids would have all gone, but they were not old enough according to Treffy as his father was called by his closest friends. They had taught the Dunwiddik kids some valuable lessons, especially about the importance of others. One other important person to Toren is the villages historian. When he was able to spend time as he pleased, he would go to the Historians house and learn whatever Otho wanted to teach him. Thanks to Otho, he found out about far away places, ones that he would like to one day visit, and some his father had already ventured to on business, like the New World.
Reputation: Other wizards tend to think well on the family. They kept magic in the same homes. In the town they are much adored. Treffidan has more power than the local authority due to the amount of respect he is given by the townsfolk. He owns many businesses in town including a store, mill, farm, messenger post, as well as shipping. Giving the family wealth on both the Muggle front, and the Wizarding front.
Secrets: The only big family secret is that they are wizards. True they have a few smaller skeletons like why they had moved to the town (his father accidentally caused a small fire in the village storehouse they used to live).
General: All family members are allergic to cat dander.

The Wizard Information:

Wand: Cherry wood imported by his father when he realized his son had the gift.
Pet: Toren has many pets. It comes with his family having a farm. He wanted to bring his dog Artos, but his sisters begged to let him stay, and he didnt want to get in trouble as his dog had a knack for doing that quite often. He will be bringing his owl Kralln, so he can keep in touch when he needs to. Kralln was a gift on his 7th birthday because he was fascinated by them.

Specific Questions for Purebloods:

Are there any magical items in your house, how about a house elf? There are few magical items. They own two flying carpets, and a few charmed items for around the house only.
How strict were your parents in enforcing no underage magic? They are ones who live by rules, almost too insanity, but since they know nothing else the kids do not care.
Are there any spells which are used a lot by your parents? They use almost none, as they find it better to be safe than sorry, and do things the muggle way so as to never cause suspicion.
Has you character always known they were magical or did they worry they were a squib? His parents told him everything after his eldest sister did magic when he was 4. Never worried about being a squib, but when he had his first magical experience he was not surprised.
Does your character have any strong feelings (good or bad) about magic or is it just part of their life? He knows he has a gift, but due to his parents outlook, he finds it fascinating, but something that must only be used in the right circumstances. At home, almost never, in town, never, and at school, as much as the Professors allow.

Student Skills:

School Ethic: He was mostly apprenticed from a young age, and has not really had proper teaching.
Teacher Relation: He will most likely show utter respect due to family upbringing.
Work Ethic and Diligence: He is a strong worker on those things he thinks are important, but can slack on other things. He maintains the tools of his trade, and most likely will keep his books in good condition. He is a fair writer, but has not learned how write very eloquently.
Subjects: Toren will most likely be drawn towards defensive magic, as he can use it to help others. He probably would not do good with future telling. Probably do strong work in Astronomy because he loves the night sky.
Where don't you want to be: Least would be Ravenclaw. Probably too much school talk for him.
