Social Class/father’s occupation: Middle Merchant Class/Clock&Watch maker
The Personality
Emotional Disposition: Usually? Happy, kind and youthfully energetic
Core Value: enthusiastic
Positive Characteristics: friendly, loyal, dedicated, compassionate and imaginative
Negative Characteristics: curious, overconfident, stubborn, hot-tempered and precise
Conflict and hardship: She doesn't want to grow up, but her parents keep pressuring her to be better than they were. Make better friends, not be a child, all those things parents want that a child is not capable of understanding
Motivation, Passion and Drive: The desire to make her parent's proud. That's her ultimate goal, to win their affection. She's driven to try to appease her parents, thought not truly succeeding to their satisfaction. Raised by a Governess, as her mother was too busy socializing and her father working. She got to known them at a distance. It might cause a bit more respect, but truthfully she wants a closer relationship with them.
Motto or catchphrase: None yet, although I sense them brewing
Overall personality: Cerri is quite the imaginative child. When she was younger, she had an imaginary friend, like most other kids her age. Cerri's was blue and had a purple striped tail. While that's appreciated in today's world, that kind of open imagination was deemed awkward by the other's her parent's introduced her to, be they play mates or adults. It was often a source of scorn by some of the other children. The idea of a blue friend was just enough to be laughed at. Being laughed at and ridiculed by her peers became a sticking fuse for her to stem off into such a hot-temper and stubbornness. But of course, if she found someone who could accept her blue friend WITH a purple striped tail, she became quite attached to them and never wanted to let them leave and go home. She has since grown out of her imaginary friend, but Cerri have developed a few other quirks. Most of them just an older and more pseudo-mature examples of the same. One might call that her way of screening her friends.
Diary Entry:
28 May, 1789o
Dear Diary,
Today is my birthday. I'm eight years old today. Happy Birthday me! Da gave me a locket and made me promise to always wear it. I like it. It is very pretty and shines in the sun. Can't see it now because the sun is all gone, but the candle makes it look orange. It's not orange it's really yellow. Mum says it is gold. But it can't be gold, because gold is round like a coin. My puppet, Dolly, really likes it and keeps trying to take it and wear it, but I won't let her because Da gave it to me AND she's a puppet. But I will let her wear it if she really wants to because she is my friend and she talks to me. She is shy and won't talk to Da or Mum. They don't like her to talk because children should be seen and not heard. The locket has a red ribbon on it. And I kjsk ksdh;lk948 n,mv... ... ... ... (words begin to get sloppy and crooked as it looks like she fell asleep writing it)
The Appearance
First Impression: They might think she was too friendly and eager.
On Second thought..: I suppose it could, she is quite at home with introducing herself and being a little brash.
Overall Appearance: Cerridwynn Glynn is a young girl. Her build is what can only be described as ordinary. At the age of eleven, it would appear that she is just beginning to move out of the skinny bean pole frame and into the little more meat on the bones stage. She's near 4'8", which is typical for a child her age. She is still growing. When her hair is pulled back out of her face, a very prominent forehead is visible. While it's not freakishly large or bumpy or bulbous, it is a rounded birthright of her family as well as that little button nose. Her hair is a light colored brown. No one would dare say it was tinted red, it just wasn't that saturated, but it did have a rich shade of brown in the recesses and darkened shadows of the underside of her locks. In the right light it did shimmer somewhat with slight adjustment into the ruddier shades. It was wavy, there were no curls. Her eyes were just as odd to describe. They were blue, but it was like the artist couldn't decide between a medium blue or a light blue.

The Family History
Parentage: Father - Taliesin Glynn, Mother - Merriwether Brales-Glynn
Siblings: 3 siblings
- younger brother - Maddock Glynn
- younger sister - Gwyneth Glynn
- youngest sister - Roslyn Glynn
Reputation: Father is known for his clockworking store. In the Mugglyverse his gears and large cogs are more of a mystery than an Art. The city of Cardiff is quite happy to have a clockmaker counted as one of its shops. Even some of the wizards are pleased to purchase their homes clocks by a wizard as they were all hand made. But the family is seen specifically as a clocksmith and the demand for the wares are not entirely cheap or quick to produce. One might take months to design, cast and assemble
Secrets: Aunt Mathilda's husband is thought to be a pimple. Once he and Mathilda were married, the secret that he was a pureblood unable to actually cast magic was discovered and it was scandalous. The man moved on leaving Mathilda behind and the secret was kept quiet and forgotten about. Such a thing does not exist in the Wizarding World.
General: Nothing that comes to mind.
The Wizard Information:
Wand: 15” Welch Cypress (Leyland Cypress) It’s more a status among proud Welch families. While the Glynn’s may not be thought of a large name, Cerri’s Mother’s family seems to think the Brales family is not on the decline. They might be seen as pretentious. But regardless, the wand is an heirloom. It's swishable. Contained within is the core of Dragon Heartstring
Pet: No
the section below consists of 3 parts, please delete the 2 that aren't relevant to your character and answer the questions of the 1 left.
Specific Questions for Purebloods:
Are there any magical items in your house, how about a house elf? yes magic items, a few small items that have been traded for wares instead of money.
How strict were your parents in enforcing no underage magic? Not. While they were strict, a witch is a witch. And one must know the basics before they advance.
Are there any spells which are used a lot by your parents? Mother was a Charmer, Father was an Enchanter
Has you character always known they were magical or did they worry they were a squib? Did know was raised to believe it.
Does your character have any strong feelings (good or bad) about magic or is it just part of their life? strong feelings that if one has the capability one should know how to use it. If nothing else it's great to amuse your friends with.
Student Skills:
School Ethic: Not school per say, but Cerri was home taught with a governess/tutor
Teacher Relation: Cerri has been educated sternly to respect teachers. Governesses often have punishment in their repertoire of duties.
Work Ethic and Diligence: Books are to be cherished and put aside as tools. They are not to be used as desks or other writing surfaces. Homework, all work at home is homework. Of course it was completed in full, lest the hickory switch, which was not very "lady like".
Subjects: like and try to excel at - Charms and Enchantments, with a want to know Transfiguration and Runes
Absolutely hate - Arithmancy and Defense against the Dark Arts (assuming that is a class taught in the 1700s)
Where don't you want to be: Prefers not Slytherin, but is not familiar enough with the Houses to know the difference
