Residence: Charlotte lives with her family in the Blackwood Estate, a large country house in Scotland. They own several acres of land around the estate, which include a good sized lake and plenty of room to ride horses.

Social Class/father’s occupation: Charlotte’s family has always been incredibly wealthy. Both her parents came from well off families, so her father doesn’t need to work. However, her father owns an upper-class clothing store.
The Personality
Emotional Disposition: Charlotte is usually rather stoic. She doesn’t like letting her emotions get out of control. The only emotions that show on her face are the ones she wants to.
Core Value: Charismatic. Charlotte has a way of always knowing what to do or say.
Positive Characteristics: Charlotte is very intelligent and slightly more mature than most kids her age. She is always kind to everyone, even if she dislikes them. She knows not to be rude to their face, no; she leaves the rudeness for a later date to the people she trusts not to say anything. She’s very hard working, when she knows it will benefit her later. She is also incredibly loyal to those she trusts and loves. Charlotte is a generally cheerful girl.
Negative Characteristics: Charlotte has a mask that she uses in everyday life. It hides her real emotions from the world, in a shroud of calm politeness. Most consider it unhealthy. Charlotte can be slightly sadistic at times, usually during a conversation where her partner is uncomfortable. She’s a bit shallow, and takes pride in her wealth and status in the world. Although she can’t be blamed too harshly, seeing as that was how she was raised. When Charlotte gets angry she usually bottles it up, so when it all comes out it is in a rather violent burst of emotion. She’s gotten very good at keeping that from happening in public.
Conflict and hardship: Charlotte always has the stress of being and upper class member of society. Naturally she worries about how everything she says can become a political statement. That is why she is so good with her mask.
Motivation, Passion and Drive: Charlotte wants to grow up to marry well and have a life of leisure, just like her parents do. She looks up to her parents and wants to do well by them. Secretly she also has the usual dream of falling in love with a Prince Charming and living happily ever after.

Overall personality: Charlotte is generally quiet, only making a statement when she is needed. She has a very cloaked personality. Not many people know the real Charlotte. She only tells people what is on the surface. She can be quite the charmer, and is always sweet to everyone she meets. Even if she doesn’t like you she will still be kind, though she won’t speak much around you. Once you turn and walk away though… it’s a different story. Of course she would never say anything to you unless she trusts you. When she trusts you though, she is fiercely loyal. Charlotte is brave to an extent. She isn’t foolish, and knows where to pick her battles. There is a line to be crossed, and she knows not to wander across it thinking she can make it out. She will stand up for something she believes in, but knows not to pick a fight with someone she can’t possibly win against.

Diary,
Today, Daddy said that he would have a surprise for me. What he means by it, I haven’t a clue. I’m rather excited about it though. Last time he said he had a surprise, he had gotten me my beautiful horse Destiny. I simply cannot wait to see what he has for me. Has it got anything to do with my turning 11 a few months ago, I wonder? Could it be my letter from Hogwarts? Oh, I certainly hope so! Turvy tells me week after week I shall be getting my letter soon. I cannot wait for Hogwarts! It sounds like a simply charming place. Oh! Daddy is calling for me! I shall go see what he wishes now.

The Appearance
First Impression: : If someone were to see Charlotte walking by, they would immediately notice the way that she carries herself in a regal manner. They would probably notice the expensive looking clothes she wore, and the careful blank but polite look that’s so usually on her face. There is also always a sense of purpose about Charlotte. She rarely does something that doesn’t have a point.
On Second thought..: On the surface, that does sum up a lot about Charlotte. However if you take the time to know her better, you also see the caring and loyal side of her. It just takes time to get behind the wall of coldness.
Overall Appearance: Charlotte is a short girl, about 4”11’. She has a petit build, but isn’t overly skinny. Her parents take time to make sure she has a slim but healthy body. Her mother and father are quite beautiful, and passed on most of their attractive traits to Charlotte. She has a slim nose, smooth pale skin and large green eyes. Charlotte has straight black hair that reaches down to just below her shoulder blades. Her bright forest coloured eyes are accented with dark lashes and her lips are a soft red colour. She still has the childlike qualities of youth in her face, but you can tell she will grow up to be beautiful.

Her mother and father always wanted her to be educated, so that she wouldn’t be taken advantage of. Not any more so than was proper, that is.
The Family History
Parentage: : Charlotte’s mother is a beautiful woman of 30 years. Her name is Clementine Louise Blackwood. Her father is 33 years of age, and his name is Joseph Frederick Blackwood. They are loving parents, and Charlotte gets along with them swimmingly.
Siblings: Charlotte has an older sister named Ophelia Marie Blackwood, and she is 17. She is skipping her last year of Hogwarts because she was recently betrothed to 18 year old Sebastian Thomas Danaher.
Other important figures: Charlotte’s mother’s brother, her Uncle Cecil, visits over the summer. He is a handsome man of 23 years, and still a bachelor. Charlotte gets along very well with the mischievous Cecil.
Reputation: The neighboring villages know the Blackwood’s as rich in money and heart. They are well loved by the villagers, though they haven’t really ever done anything to invoke it. Perhaps its because they haven’t done anything to provoke hate either..
Secrets: There are not many close guarded secrets about the Blackwood Estate. Most everything about them is clean enough to be know in public.
General: There isn’t much more to say, I’m afraid.

Pet: A fluffy, medium sized black cat named Mercutio after one of her favourite plays.
Specific Questions for Purebloods:
Are there any magical items in your house, how about a house elf? They have several house elves at her estate, but Charlotte only ever sees a few of them. Her personal elf is called Turvy. She is constantly surrounded by magical items, some of which she has been forbidden to touch.
How strict were your parents in enforcing no underage magic? They were not very strict about it, they were proud that their daughter was showing such strong signs of magical ability.
Are there any spells which are used a lot by your parents? Her mother has a particularly helpful spell she uses on a regular basis. It tightens the strings on a corset and ties, all magically. The incantation is ‘Astringo’.
Has you character always known they were magical or did they worry they were a squib?Charlotte never had to worry, seeing as she showed signs of magic early on in her life. There was also the fact that her parents assure her every day that she comes from the purest magical blood.
Does your character have any strong feelings (good or bad) about magic or is it just part of their life? Magic is really just a part of Charlotte’s life. She doesn’t have to think about how special it is, because she grew up with it. Though she does realize how much of a gift it is.
Student Skills:
School Ethic: Charlotte has been home schooled since she was a small child, so she is used to going to school. She works hard, because she doesn’t like to disappoint her parents, and herself.
Teacher Relation: Charlotte realizes how key teachers are in a good social life. She will be a model student, but not over the top. However in control she wants to be, she knows how annoying teachers pets are.
Work Ethic and Diligence: Charlotte takes care of her books for the single reason of not wanting to appear poor or unable to attain better books. She knows her parents wouldn’t approve, and quite frankly she wouldn’t either. She works hard in her subjects, seeing as she refuses to look unintelligent to her professors.
Subjects: Charlotte would probably like Charms the best. She enjoys handy spells to make her life easier. She would probably dislike Herbology, mostly because she doesn’t enjoy getting dirty.
Where don't you want to be: Charlotte wouldn’t like to be in Hufflepuff, if she knew all the houses. To her, Hufflepuff would seem like the ‘weak’ house, and she hates looking weak.
