Lisette thought she could hear voices in the distance, and felt slightly lonely. Here she was, doing the famed and exciting Easter Egg Hunt and nobody was there with her. She sighed.
Maybe she could find another one? Lisette wandered around the castle hoping to strike it lucky again. Instead of seeing the familiar glint of gold, however, she was met with a bunch of Hogwarts students talking to each other. Company at last! One girl, a Ravenclaw who seemed to be cheeky and almost mean in a way, had just snatched an egg from a fellow Slytherin.
"Hello, how is everybody?" Sure, it was awkward but she wanted to get a conversation going.

"Actually, yes," Daniella said. "It seems like it would be silly, but it's not actually, Except for the older students." Alexander agreed. "They're a bunch of prats, but I'm sure well think just as highly of ourselves when we're a bit older."
Just than, a person Alexander could not have foreseen joined the foray. "So, having fun?" mocked Luka Chancery, the boy he had forgotten existed. The antagonistic relationship between them was an interesting one.
Alexander felt his face tauten, while he didn't hate the boy, for he knew that Luka Chancery hated him, he couldn't let up now. Not in front of Daniella, another Slytherin. Before he could say anything however Elisabet came round. He wondered if he was to insult the boy, would Elisabet say something in Luka's defence? They were in the same house after all. Daniella jumped on the sight of Luka before either Betta or he could himself.
It seemed that Elisabet was trying to end the tension in the air by talking to Luka and switching the subject. "Hello... Luka... right? I don't know if you remember me, but my sister and I helped you out a few months back. How have you been? Did you want to share a basket with me so we can win points for our house? I don't think its against the rules, but we can always try and find you another basket it if it is.
Daniella piped up as well on the mention of a basket. “What, couldn’t find a basket?” she asked. “And I thought Ravenclaws were supposed to be clever.”
Alexander starred, he knew this was just as much of an insult thrown at Luka as it was at Elisabet, who for whatever reason Daniella didn't seem to like. Of course this was mutual.
Standing there rooted in the spot, not knowing how to end this debacle Elisabet threw her remark in. "Hey! Dani, missed an egg" smirking she grabbed a golden egg from behind Daniella.
"Hi Alex, find many eggs yet? I have a few"
Not sure of how to respond, of who to respond to first, Alexander looked into her basket. "Good job Betta"
However something stole over him, like a blanket thrown over someone who was about to be kidnapped. "I guess this isn't real gold than, is it?" Alexander said seriously looking at an egg he produced from his basket. He felt like he might regret his choice of words. Not because of Luka, but because of Elisabet. He didn't want to destroy their friendship. Somehow, something deep inside him stirred however, and he smirked, "I mean otherwise Chancy here would have won the game already. Stolen them all before the game even started."
"Judging by that beautiful waist coat you wore for the ball, well you might want to keep robbing the second hand stores in Diagon Alley. I'm sure you'll come up with something eventually." Alexander said his jaw hard, his eyes cold as he looked at Luka. He felt calm and yet he felt a deep annoyance at the sight of this boy.
Just than he heard Lisette. The very calm, sweet and nice Slytherin upper year. Who while Alexander hadn't ever talked too much, felt was very similar to him. Almost like they didn't belong in the House they were placed in.

Well now he had done it. At least the last time he had put himself in a high spot in search of an egg, it only took a few seconds to get to and from it. Now Alistair was at the highest point on the grounds save for the top of the tower used for Astronomy. How on earth was he to catch up to all of those other students? But the game was still on and he still had plenty of room in his basket. He made his decent.
There were no other eggs in the stands based on the scans he had made at the top of each seating area that he had climbed up to. Instead of standing around for posterity, Alistair made his way toward the Herbology greenhouses beside the castle. There were plenty of places to hide an egg in there; in a bag of much, for example, or very close to the venomous tentacula. The boy rather hoped for the first as he tried the door on the nearest greenhouse.
Though he twisted and pulled, the doorknob wouldn’t budge. Sighing loudly, Alistair looked up and found that this was greenhouse 5, the one primarily used by the oldest students working with the more dangerous plants. Thinking better, he moved to greenhouse one, where the door was actually ajar a bit. There was another student in the room, but she was searching far too diligently to be worried about Alistair’s entrance.
Avoiding her and where it seemed like she had already searched, Alistair looked for something out of place, a clue as to where the egg might be hidden. There was a loud tap on the roof; it was nothing more than a few drops of rain, but the magnified sound caused the boy to look up. There, nestled in vines and leaves hugged to the roof of the building, was a golden egg. Quickly jumping up on top of the nearest table, Alistair was careful not to step on any ceramic pots or push them off the edge. In a matter of seconds, his third egg was in his basket.
"Best of luck to you," he told the girl as he left.

Mary ducked into one of the empty classrooms on the first floor. The place looked just as it had at the end of a lesson after everyone had left, the chairs were pushed under the desks and everything had been put away. She dearly hoped that also meant that nobody had been in here before her and cleared out all the Easter Eggs.
She started making a periodic sweep of the room, checking all the surfaces, opening and closing cupboards, everywhere she could find. Her small size gave her the advantage that she didn't have to stoop that far to look under tables and chairs, and that was where she finally found it, a golden egg under one of the desks at the front of the classroom. Smiling to herself she dropped it in to her basket and decided to make one final sweep of the room before heading back out into the corridor.

Lisette blinked. Ookay... so everybody had ignored her brilliant conversation-starter. Oh well. She sneaked a glance at the abundance of gold eggs in the other student's baskets. Wow! She scanned the surroundings, hoping to spot an egg. Instead, she suddenly realised that most of the people in this group weren't having a happy, lively conversation. They looked mad, angry...furious, some of them. She suspected people had started picking fights. Lisette gulped. Maybe she should move away...
But she chided herself for her stupidity. What was life without a little drama? She would have fun, as shocking as it sounded, listening to the various goings-on between the younger students. Alexander and Luka (she didn't have any fond memories of him) were both there and she knew they didn't get on very well at all.
In the silence Lisette hurriedly searched for more easter eggs. She found one all right, beneath a small hole near her foot. It was dusty, it was dirty...but it was an egg.

Elisabet heard a voice behind her, but she was so focused on snatching the egg from behind Daniella it took a moment to register.
"Oh, hello." Elisabet said to the girl just as she bent down and pulled an egg from a hole in the wall. "I'm doing great, and you?"

(OOC, Dani didn't make any face when she saw Elisabet, she may not like her, but she's going out of her way to be polite and seem like she likes her fine, at least around Alex. When she does start pulling faces, I'll make sure to put it in. )
She glanced at Alex. "Maybe," she said with a shrug. "But I don't know. I wouldn't be picking on Slytherin first years, unless they deserved it of course. It's counter productive and stupid." Nope. She was going to pick on Ravenclaws. Insufferable, the lot of them. At least Luka had the guts to be a smart mouth. She couldn't say the same for other people.
Now, she shot Elisabet a frosty look. "Pity," she said dryly. "Fortunately my emotional well being doesn't depend on collecting the most eggs." Would it be nice? Oh sure. She loved to win. Would she be heartbroken if someone, even a prat of a Ravenclaw, had more? No. It wasn't something that mattered. If it was something important, like Qudditch, then she might be upset, but an egg hunt? No one was going to remember in a few weeks anyway and she would make up any house points later. Somehow. As much as she wanted to earn them, Dani didn't particularly go out of her way in lessons to get herself any.
She glanced at Alexander, wondering if she should say anything in defense of Luka. She really did admire his spirit, everyone else was so very wishy-washy, but she didn't appreciate his rudeness. Still, stirring up a little chaos was always fun. "I thought it was quite a nice waist coat," she said with a toss of her head. "He didn't have one, so he went to get one." She shot Elisbabet and Alex a challenging look. Of course, Dani had never needed to stoop to such measures, but she could admire someone who steeled himself to do it, rather than showing up looking completely ragged and remaining honorable. "Really, I can't imagine anyone else I know daring to do it," she added.
An older Sytherin girl had joined them by then. "Well enough," she said polite. "Lisette Heartstone, correct?" She hadn't really gotten to know any older Slytherins, but she knew who most of them were. "Oh, and Betta," she stressed the familiar nickname, if Elisabet would call her Dani, Daniella would use her nickname as well. "You missed one," she plucked an egg concealed in a suit of armor right next to the other girl and with a serene smile, dropped it into her basket. It clinked beautifully against her other three.
Ah, the sound of victory.

((Ohh, I got left behind! Please forgive me.))
Luka did not answer when Elisabet offered to share her basket. He simply lifted one long, thin eyebrow and turned away. That said everything he felt about such an offer.
He wanted to fight with Alexander, but that Daniella got in first, saying like she thought Luka was stupid enough to get a basket. His eyes flickered with amusement.
"Aye, you know me," he murmured. "Couldn't find my ankles with both hands."
Then Alexander woke up enough to slide in a comment of his own. Luka watched as he inspected a golden egg, spoke softly, trying to hurt him... and then mentioned the waistcoat he'd worn at the ball.
Oh. That. Luka's dismay did not show on his face. I knew that was a mistake.
"If I'd wanted to look like a nancy prat, I would have taken your things," Luka answered lightly. And then Daniella Cruz tossed her head and said she thought his waistcoat was nice. Nice.
Luka stared at her, wondering at her motive. It was a good colour, sure, but no one who dressed like Daniella could think that it was actually nice. And she never knew anyone else who dared to do it... was she defending him, or what?

Elisabet wasn't too surprised when Daniella had in turn grabbed her own egg from right next to where she was standing, nor was she too surprised when Luka turned away from her offer of sharing a basket. Elisabet figured her friendship with Alexander had something to do with that, but it certainly hadn't been harmful to attempt to be nice to Luka. She watched with a little interest in when Alexander commented to Luka and Luka's own reply. Elisabet had been there for their exchange at the ball.
"Very well then, I'll leave you three to work this out and have some fun. I have more eggs to catch" Elisabet said and starting walking down the hall in the opposite direction stopping only once to pick up one last egg to place in her basket before heading back outside to check for more.

She giggled at Luka's response. So he had a sense of humor after all then and could reply to a comment that should have been mean with it. It disarmed her and she couldn't help but feel a bit of respect for him. He wasn't fighting back, but he wasn't shrinking away from it either. Of course as he was a little thief she wouldn't be surprised if he found her own diary, even hidden in her dorm as it was, but still.
"As long as you can find the Great Hall or the kitchens," she said. "Who needs to find their ankles anyway?"
She snickered again at his response, trying unsuccessfully to turn it into a cough. Alex might be her friend, but Luka had a point. Rich boys did dress like nancy prats. Then again, rich girls were made to dress like sissies.

Kenton decided that the time had come to call an end to the Easter Egg hunt. He pointed his wand into the air and shot out a burst of red sparks. At the same time there was a sound of a gong being struck somewhere and the enchantment that had concealed the eggs before the game started was once more brought in to effect. Any eggs that the students had stored in their baskets would remain visible, any that had now been uncollected would disappear again. Even if the students went looking for more eggs at this point, they wouldn't find any.
He pointed his wand at his throat at this point and magically augmented his voice so it could be heard in all areas of the Hogwarts grounds. "The Egg Collecting task is now at an end, I hope you had a pleasant time taking part. If you would all please make you way back out to the grounds so we can begin counting them."
----------------------- OOC ------------------- SCORES ---------------- OOC --------------------
Scores are as follows
