Hello Lia Withers,  Welcome to DMRP. You've made it to the Introduction forum where we're very happy to see you! While you are here, please take the time to introduce yourself to your fellow RPers and ask any questions you might want to ask about the rules and the game in general. Deputy Headmaster Professor Denman explained in the welcome pm you received what this forum is, and why you're here, so if you haven't read it yet, please go to your Owleryand check your Owls. Is Lia Withers the name you want to give your character? If not, please post with the full name of the character you wish to play, so we can change your Display Name for you. Once you've familiarized yourself with the forum and your fellow students, and your account has been approved, you'll promote to the rank of Apprentice. This will enable you to post in the out-of-hogwarts areas of the forum such as Diagon Alley and In the Country. It is indeed, or so we hope.
Welcome! *Throws confetti*
I'm Meghan and I play Alistair and Professor Penvellyn. How did you come to find our little area? Have you ever RPed before? What is your favourite type of pie? You don't have to answer any of those questions, I'm just rather curious and enjoy getting to know our new people.

There are just a few tiny things to mention. First, you've proven you're human! I'll go bump you up and make you an apprentice. You'll then be able to go to the character card forum and work on your card.

Sadly, at that point you'll have to wait. As we're in the second half of the school year, we aren't sorting new students. However, you have a great opportunity to search the board and the rules and get to know people. Your character will be among the bright and shiny new first years that will be coming through in the next in game school year (we don't have a set calendar as we never seem to be able to follow it, but we're very near Easter right now, so it shouldn't take more than a few weeks)

Lastly, is the name you've chosen the one you want to give your eleven year old witch or wizard? We always like to encourage choosing a name other than your own, but I can't force the issue. Anyway, think on it and I can't wait to see you around the board. Happy posting!

Hello Meghan! thank you for replying so quickly.
To answer your questions, I found you on Darkmark.com, I have RPed before, but for different books with smaller sites. And, lastly, pumpkin.
And I don't mind waiting, it'll give me time to get acclimated with your lovely sight( << That would be me sucking up. I won't do it too much, honest). And My real name is Actually Madi, but I've taken Lia as a kind of universal alias for any site I go on. The last name changes (Ex, Fernandez, Kish, Clarke), but I'm perfectly happy with Lia. If for whatever reason I want to change it before the new year, I'll be sure to let you know.
-Lia (Madi)
