So the forum has fallen asleep in the last few weeks, it's way too quiet even though enough of us visit on a daily basis.

I'm not blaming anyone, everyone has busy lives but since we check the forum we should try to make more time for writing and replying.

Something needs to happen to kick us back into gear, I don't know, maybe a recruitment drive of some sort?

Excellent! And hey, thanks for sticking with us and wanting to turn things around, Im totally in.

And yeah, Im the worst offender here, real life has totally overwhelmed me for a long time but its slowly getting on track and Im learning to type with a sleeing baby in my arms. I can't reach the p on my keyboard well when doing so though so if one is missing...

Personally, I notice its really hard to get back into the swing of things if you've been out of them for a while. So it's just starting back up that's my problem. Especially when pressed for time its really hard to get going again. Maybe we can talk a bit about what everyone would want with their character and what kind of threads would suit that need? So we can focus on threads that work for everyone?

Hard to blame yourself, you did just have a baby.

As for helping to gear the forum toward member interest might be a better idea han just asking people to sign up. If we improve quality we should be able to eventually improve quantity, or ask old members to come back once we've managed it.

I think initially we need people to start making new threads, new adventures, new story arcs o help develop characters and interactions. I'm willing to help carry the torch but I need support as well!

Well as you guys can see I have a new character card sitting there, Genevieve and Cecile have been stagnating my my mind for far too long and I came to hate them and by extent posting. Once I start with Daniella I will most definitely be posting more and I think that's what we need. In my experience activity breeds activity, so we just need to get out there and post. One thing I miss is plots between characters, rivalries, friendships, things like that, I don't necessarily need site wide plots to keep myself entertained, (your mileage may vary).

As for people, my best thought is that people need to tell their friends. We have ads on two directory sites and those are the biggest I've managed to find so far, but if I find another one that might be worth our time I'll send it along.

Ahh the rivalry I had between Luka, it was spectacular! I agree we need more antagonistic characters!

I think I'm going to have a small brain storming session and see which way I want my character to flourish!

Luka was wonderful, I  miss Sunny. That's partially why I made Daniella though, to antagonize people bwahahaha.

As far as I know Ren. I kept waiting for her to put up a thread for Christmas break, we had talked about meeting up in Diagon Alley, but she never did and when I asked no one had seen her on. I assumed she had gotten banned from the site or the internet again. :/

I've been spamming this site. The problem is people come and then they leave again. I know Z has been super busy with life, but I do bug her on occasion. I'll try to nag Ciara, Lisa and Penny into coming back. and hopefully Ciara and Lisa will finish their character cards.

On an unrelated note, behind the scenes I'm also working on forum upgrades to keep our forum safe and secure. This means we'll have to say goodbye to the current skin... I hope no one is too attached to it?

I use the ip.Board one anyway, find the clean, white and grey scheme just works better on my eyes and especially is easier to navigate with on Safari.

Well we can definitely make sure the board is active so when people do drop back in it will be easier for them to get excited. I've noticed that lots of people tend to come back at the end of the school year when we send out a message about it.

As long as you keep the member group icons Ren! They are my favorite group icons of all time.
