I've been trying to catch her smile with the normal camera so it's of better quality than the lucky shot we got with the ipod XD so far no luck! She's shy!

She's basically the same for both of us, buuuuuuuuuut, I have the magic boobs, LOL!   Thank heavens for that, I have no idea how formula moms calm their screaming fussy babies if they can't whip out the boob when they're at their wits end.

Edit: "so nice of you to provide a special cat sized bed!"

IMO, formula would be a huge pain in the butt. Boobs travel with you, anyplace, anytime. We went to Italy to visit friends when I was four and my brother was an infant and it was easy. :P

Poor little one turned out to suffer from silent reflux, no wonder she's been screaming her lungs out  :(  Once we got her on meds for it, she turned a 180, but she still has a horrible gas problem that has her screaming and crying some days, but not others. Which likely means she's sensitive to something I eat. I'm dreading an elimination diet, but I think pork is a likely candidate, as well as too much dairy (hey, I'm Dutch, think CHEESE!)

She has had her shots yesterday, and she's been a trooper! That's my girl!

Here's her as the wrong holiday:

LMAO, we needed some footed sleepers quickly because of the insane cold, and went to the market on someones advice. They did have cheap sleepers alright, and now you know why they were so cheap!

Aww poor baby. :[ Hope the medicine straightens her out soon, that must be miserable all around.

Eating anything spicy? Or maybe it is the dairy stuff.

Also it is never the wrong season for skeleton pajamas <3.

Awww... poor baby.
Have you tried flexing her legs to relieve gas or belly massages, those are the only things that worked for Spawn

Seems odd that such things would work...

It actually does work, and work very well at that. You make a cycling motion with the legs, then press the knees gently towards the belly. Hannah by now has learned how to help things along and actively counter pushes when we do it and mega fart will appear!

I had a good laugh about that.

Some of those things people don't realise about babies, they seem so odd. How sometimes heads can become misshapen after a mother gives birth, how a baby has a bald spot after rubbing on the mattress, how the "first time" it looks like tar...

We were lucky bastards with the tar. She had dumped it all in my belly, giving my gynecologist a hell of a job trying to keep me from infecting, and the pediatrician a heart attack before figuring out that none of it had entered her lungs.

The freaky thing we didn't luck out on? My LO had her first period the week after birth! And drops of milk came out of her chest... she was stuffed to the brim with my hormones. No wonder I'm still such a sob story.

They can do that while still inside?

It seems odd that people are so misinformed about the whole birth process. They seem to get the general idea from movies and tv, where it always looks rather clean. No after birth or the mention of mothers forcing things out other than babies. Yeah I'll stop right here...

Yes, they can  have bowel movements while still inside. Why do you think people say DO NOT USE castor oil, because it can cause the baby to pass meconium.  And you're right I hate how uniformed people are, especially Americans, which is why I educated myself on it before hand. Now, I try and help educate others if they ask.

I never knew what Castor Oil was until that story told by the protagonist of "Stand by Me"...

As for lack of education, it's not just as Americans who are uninformed. There are ignorant people the world over, doesn't matter what nation they live in.

Tru dat.  But americans seem to take the cake, sorry! Not just about birth but also about circumcision for example. It's saddening. The whole medical system in the USA is so overly commercialized, it's not doing mothers a favor.

It IS very saddening. I hate it.  It makes me sad that people are perfectly okay with following drs blindly instead of learning about their own bodies and trusting them. Don't get me wrong, drs and hospitals have their place, but pregnancy is not a sickness like so many people like to think of it is. And don't even get me started on the unfairness of MGM, I post things about it daily, some people have even deleted me from their fb because they either can't or won't accept the truth about that cosmetic  surgery

I personally don't have an opinion. It's almost universally not performed throughout the European continent, as it was always a religious thing.
