Once you've familiarized yourself with the forum and your fellow students, and your account has been approved, you'll promote to the rank of Apprentice. Hello and welcome to DMRP
I'm Jon and I play Joe and Mary Wilkins, also Professor d'Ambray.

Now that you have posted in here and proved your humanity, one of the admins should be along soon enough to bump you up to 'apprentice' so you can work on and post your character card. They should also be able to change your display name as you request. Of course you would still log in to the site using the same 'login name' you signed up with, as this is not the same as your display name.

Whilst you are waiting, feel free to look around the forum and at the rules. If you have any questions then you are welcome to post them here.

At the moment there is a 'sorting stop' in operation, so you will need to wait until the current school year is played out before your character will be sorted. This is because we are reaching the latter stages of said year and it would not be appropriate for new students to be arriving at this point. Once your card is posted though, you are welcome to RP in Diagon Alley and other out-of-school areas.
