Alexander opened his eyes with a start. He stared at the canopy of the bed he had been lying in, where was he he searched his memory for a few fleeting moments. Home? How could he be, the last time he had fallen asleep he had been in the hospital wing at Hogwarts. He scratched his head, sitting up. It was definitely his home, but somehow everything seem a bit off. Further, somehow more distant it seemed. His eyes felt droopy, a drowsiness seemed to engulf him but he shook his head slightly. Throwing the covers off himself, he looked down. He was dressed in his Hogwarts uniform. Odd he thought as he tugged at the sweater and the pants. He slowly get out of bed, standing up he looked around the room. All his personal effects seemed to be missing. Yet that familiar smell seem to linger here, he wondered where everyone was. Shuffling his feet over, he opened the door which lead out into the landing.

"Hello," he shouted.

His voice echoed strangely. The house had been devoid of any personal touches. Suits of armour stood against the wall but unlike at Hogwarts they did not creak, nor walk around nor sing. They stood there frozen. Alexander wondered whether any of this was real, when he looked out the window. Complete whiteness seemed to surround the home. Walking from window to window, it seemed that the house was floating in the middle of the sea, surrounded by a thick white fog.

Slowly descending the stairs Alexander once again called out. "Anyone here?"

No answer, cocking his eyebrow he slowly made his way to the drawing room. Opening the heavy sliding doors he saw that someone was standing in front of the fire. A girl, but not any member of his family.

"Hello?" Alexander said as he approached the girl slowly.

"Hello, Alexander" Elisabet said with a smile as she greeted him. "Rather interesting place isn't it?" she asked. I don't recognize it"

Elisabet glanced around the room while she talked. It was an exceptionally beautiful room, a huge fireplace, gorgeous hand carved frescoes adorned the ceiling, books floor to ceiling and even a piano! She longed to play and had been considering it when she head Alexander say Hello, in a very confused voice.

"Hello, Alexander" Elisabet faced him smiling. "Rather interesting place isn't it?" she asked. I don't recognize it"

Elisabet glanced around the room while she talked, her gaze fell on the piano in the far corner. Alexander noticed that the furniture was covered with white cloth.

"This is my parents house" the boy said plainly. He didn't want to be rude but considering the heavy fog and the seemingly abandoned house, he wandered how she got here. He chose his words carefully as he spoke slowly "How did you manage to get through this heavy fog?"

"How did you manage to get through this heavy fog?"

Noting his rather surprised tone she answered quickly, she was just as confused as he was.I'm not sure. she replied. I didn't realize I was here until I heard you say Hello on the stairs. she said still looking around.  Your parent's house is beautiful, why does it look so abandoned? Aren't your parents here? she asked of him

"I'm not sure." the girl answered at which Alexander raised his eye brow. He looked at the surroundings. The floor he noticed for the first time was covered by a thick layer of dust. "I didn't realize I was here until I heard you say Hello on the stairs." she said still looking around.

He smiled at this but he kept looking around, this was definitely his house and yet it was abandoned; it was odd. He felt an urge to go to the window and draw back the curtains to look through them and see what was on the other side. He stood there however as Elisabet spoke Your parent's house is beautiful, why does it look so abandoned? Aren't your parents here?.

"Doesn't look like they are; it's odd. It is my house and yet, it doesn't really seem to be it."1 he looked at her his eye brow raised once more. 1"Wands out you reckon?" he asked.
