Opening the door, he noticed that no one had yet arrived. The classroom was dark, except for the candles lit in the candelabra at a small table that sat in the middle of the room. "Incendio" Alex murmured pointing his wand at the chandelier above the table. The candles all lit at the same time, he repeated the spell six more times as he pointed individually at candles in candle holders on the wall brackets which surrounded the large classroom.
The boy wondered where his companions were, undoubtedly, the girls would change or something. He was never sure what they thought anyway, so he placed the wicker basket carefully on the small table which was in the centre of the couches and chairs and took out the pot and mugs. The wicker basket seemingly had been expanded so that more cakes, sandwiches and pastries could be fitted into it. Surprisingly the elves had even included a mound of marshmellows. Smiling at them, Alexander looked at the empty grate and muttering the Incendio incantation, sparks flew and a fire crackled where there had been none before.
Just as Alexander was about to pour himself a cup of hot chocolate, he heard a soft knocking on the door.
"Enter," he said pleasantly.
