Once you've familiarized yourself with the forum and your fellow students, and your account has been approved, you'll promote to the rank of Apprentice. This will enable you to post in the out-of-hogwarts areas of the forum such as Diagon Alley and In the Country. Yes, you can change your character's name if you wish, once one of the admins comes online they can change your display name for you (this will not change your login name). An admin should also bump you up to 'apprentice' shortly so you can post your character card.

In the mean time feel free to have a look around the forum and the rules, if you have any more questions then feel free to post them here or get in touch with one of the admins.

I think Adelaide is a much nicer name than Adeline or Caralee, but I'm a name snob. Anyways, Oscar doesn't have the best name in the world, so I'll shut my mouth. Oh and hi!
