Adele was suddenly deep in thought. Did she have a real need? There was the need of word from her parents for the first time all year, but what could the room do about that? It certainly couldn’t conjure up a fake letter from her family.

She almost jumped out of her seat when an idea came to her. It was quite insane, indeed, but she had a strong feeling that it would work. But she wasn’t sure the other girls would go along with it. If the Room of Requirement didn’t exist, or they were in the wrong place, they could get in a lot of trouble.

Okay, I have an idea,” she started, looking at them nervously, hoping they wouldn't think her daft.

The room is sure to appear if we need a place to hide, right? I have a hunch that it’s probably in one of the lesser traveled corridors, perhaps on the third floor. One of us could make a distraction by a teacher, we’ll run, and..do you see where I’m going with this?

Would it really be worth it? Depending on the distraction, they could even be expelled. She sat and waited for their answers, quite anxiously.

Lisette said she had no real need and somehow Amelia knew she was telling the truth. Lisette took her time answering and there was no need to lie really. Must be nice, Amelia thought, to not need anything in the world."I think that is a reasonably good idea Adele. Definitely feasible." Amelia smiled as she weighed out the pros and cons silently in her head. If they were caught they would need the distraction to only be worth a few detentions at most, they didn't want to risk their Hogwarts careers over some room that may or may not even exist.

"So are we going to eliminate the corridors one by one then or what? I think if we start anywhere it should be the third floor. That brings us to the distraction, if we're going to have to test more than one corridor that means more than one distraction. Really then, that means it can't be anything too extreme that will get us in ridiculous amounts of trouble, just enough to have us in need of a hiding place." Amelia stopped to take a breath and smiled apologetically, she was rambling a bit but she felt she had brought up some important points. "Also, we have to do all this, without the teacher's getting suspicious... how do we manage that?"

Lisette expected them all to have zero needs, and she was right. However, Adelaine (ever the Ravenclaw) thought of a good idea - what if their need was a hiding place? She explained the details of their plan - which, admittedly, wasn't too intricate - and immediately Lisette's mind geared into action with the whos, whats, whens, wheres and hows.  She was almost certain that their idea was going to be a huge success. Lisette could just imagine it, the three of them standing in the perfect hiding place, with food, and money, and beds, and toys...

She had to speak out against something the two other girls seemed adamant on. "I wouldn't necessarily count the third floor as a lesser-traveled floor. I've been there a few times, and quite a few people have joined me." She thought of her most recent accounter, with Maddock, Cecile and Orion.

Lisette suddenly realised she was quite hungry, and upon taking a bite of toast realised she was ravenous. She dug in, trying to justify her pigging out with the idea it was only food for thought.

(OOC: why are you eating cheese at breakfast?)

Adelaine couldn't have been happier at their responses. Though she was quite surprised, at herself as well, that they supported the idea of possibly being caught. Plans raced through her mind. Amelia was right; it would have to be a minor distraction. Nothing that could get them expelled.

"Dungbombs!" she shouted, slouching down in her seat to avoid the wary looks she received from students at the other tables. "One of us could throw a dungbomb in a classroom, though we must not be seen. We'll all run through the third floor corridors, because I'm sure my source mentioned something about it being on that floor. And if we don't find it then, we'll work our way down."

She smiled, quite proud of herself for coming up with the plan. A flicker of worry rested at the back of her mind; what if they were caught? What if the room didn't appear? She sighed and refused to think of it. She was doing this, no matter what. Now all that was left was to figure out who would throw the dreaded dungbomb.

"Well it's no loss trying the third floor first, if it doesn't appear there, we will just try another place. But if Adele feels like it's the third floor it's the best place to start, we are only going from a small amount of fact anyway."Amelia felt as if the location had finally been settled, the third floor, and she was glad to be moving on in the plan.

Amelia smiled at Adele as she shouted out the exact distraction Amelia herself has been thinking of. When Amelia and Alexander had gotten into the restriction section in the library they had used a dungbomb as their distraction. It had worked. It was also not a terrible, terrible offence, they would hardly be hung and quartered for it. "I think a dungbomb would definitely work. I have used them before effectively and they're not too risky."Amelia nodded, "Who wants to create the distraction then?...I have done it previously so I could but I'd be happy for anyone else to do it if they wished. Although, admittedly I have the "silly first year angle." If we did get caught, I imagine the teacher's may find it suspicious for either of you to have done it?"Amelia didn't want to sound like she was trying to take control and boss everyone around but admittedly she thought she should probably do it.

((Sorry about this but I'm leaving for a bit, i'm going to try the best I can to wrap this up so you can continue without Amelia. :) ))

Suddenly Amelia remembered the mountain of homework piling up around her four poster bed. That lot would take weeks, she would love to continue planning but she knew she really should get on. Lisette and Adele would be able to manage on their own, they were every bit as organized and intuitive as Amelia. "I'm so sorry to just fly off but I have so much work still to do, I don't know when i'll be able to plan with you two again but keep going without me! I want you two to find the room!" Amelia smiled warmly and waved a goodbye before exiting the great hall.

Cat had been eating Breakfast. One extremely boring breakfast, with no fun whatsoever. He munched on his toast, glaring into space, only wishing for a more exciting day. Luka Chancery had taught him about excitement and fun. The only thing for Cat to do now, was embrace that excitement. That is, if he could find any.

The heavens opened as Adelaine, a fellow housemate of his, shouted Dungbombs at the top of her lungs. Cat swiveled around to stare at her. His eyes grew wider as he found that Amelia Hexheart and Lisette-bigheaded-Heartsone were sitting with her. Why would anyone want to sit with Lisette? She ruined fun after all. And that sin could never be forgiven.

Amelia ran out of the hall, and Cat took this as his time to jump in. He wasn't missing out on whatever gossip party was happening there. He slid down the table and flashed a sly smile as Adele. "Hello there." he said happily Then, twisting his head toward Lisette, he offered her a curt nod. "Hello." he said simply. "And may I ask, what the devil are you going to do with Dungbombs?"

Oh, this could be the end of everything
So why don't we go somewhere only we know?

Adelaine beamed at Cat. It seemed they'd be able to go through with the plan after all. That is, if she could talk him into joining them.

"Well, we've just been planning on searching for the Room of Requirement, if you'd like to come along," she explained quietly. It wasn't likely that he'd heard of it, so she wasted no time waiting for a response. "Everything you need appears in it."

She glanced at Lisette, hoping it was okay to let him in on the plan. He was all in all a good kid, but she sensed some sort of tension between them. That couldn't matter now, though. If they were going to find it, Cat would be the right person for the job; he was friends with Luka, after all.

"So, this is the plan," she resumed hastily. "We think the Room is on the third floor. You throw a dungbomb into a classroom, without being seen; we all run, having the need to hide; the Room appears, and voila!"

Alexander had sat down at the table, his eyes half closed from exhaustion. He had stayed up most of the previous night finishing his homework so that he'd be free for the whole of the weekend. Not paying much attention, he grabbed whatever was in front of him, taking a spoonful of what he thought was porridge.

"Ugh" he let out disgust. Opening his eyes he noticed he had taken a small bowl of mustard. The Slytherin fourth years along with most of the table sitting beside him exploded in laughter. Alexander joined in, he knew he was tired and this was undoubtedly ridiculous. Wiping his mouth on a napkin, he took a long drink of his tea to wash out the taste of mustard. Not that he minded, but it wasn't exactly something he liked to eat without anything else.

Feeling a little more awake now that he had eaten what he hadn't planned on, he grabbed a piece of toast and was about to set off for the library, to check up on something when he heard a few select words by Adelaine.

"You throw a dungbomb ... the Room appears"

The rather select choice of words gained his attention. Not being certain as to whether this girl thought of him as a friend or not, although they had talked in Hogsmeade and on the Staircase of the Quad, he decided he wasn't about to force himself onto the group of girls and Cat. However, he was curious enough to see what they were up to. He'd follow them possibly to spy on them, not that he was about to rat them out to a teacher but his curiosity was awakened none the less. Shuffling out of the Great Hall, he quickly made his way toward the broom cupboard in the Entrance Hall. Where, opening the door slightly he waited for the throng of them to come out so he could follow them at a safe distance.

Lisette rolled her eyes as Cat, a silly troublemaker, joined the group. It was obvious he was still seething after that incident, she thought with a wry smile. She wondered why he was making his way over to them, after all, wasn't it his policy to avoid those he disliked(Lisette's was to make sure you appeared nice to them so they'd never suspect - but Luka and Cat were exceptions)?

A small bit of her mind said it was a good idea to let him in on this plan. They would most likely need three people for this and since Amelia had left they did require someone else. Cat was a professional troublemaker, really, and he would most likely help greatly. But that still didn't forgive him!

"Do you think there might be any other floors the Room of Requirement could be on? It would be a shame to throw a Dungbomb on the wrong floor."
Lisette was still suspicious about the third floor part of the plan. Maybe they should try things out first.

Adelaine stared vacantly at Lisette and took a sip of her pumpkin juice. Really, what was her problem with the third floor? It didn't matter, anyhow.

"We'll start on the third floor," she said, taking initiative. "If it isn't there, we'll go down a floor, and so on."

Adele was sure the fourth year boy had told her the Room was on the third floor, so that's where they were going to start looking, whether Lisette liked it or not. Not that she would ever voice these thoughts to Lisette.

"So, Cat. Are you in?"
