Full Character Name: Adrian James MacDermott
Likes to be called: Adrian
Birthdate: Adrian was born on November 12th, 1782
Age: 11
Residence: Arians parents live in Ireland, In castle MacDermott by their privetly owned lake, which is where Adrian spent the first seven years of his life, but once he actually started showing magical abilities they sent him off to live with his grandmother who insisted that he attend Hogwarts like every other member of the family had. For the last three years Adrian has lived with his grandmother in a large five story house out in the country side where she has forced him to do things like feed the chickens, and wash dishes, things that house elves could have easily done... If the crazy old woman hadnt gotten completely upset years ago at her oldest elf named Paula (who failed her by not making her gurdy root tea sweet enough for her) so she had all seven of them beheaded and hasnt bothered to deal with such vermin since.

Social Class/father’s occupation: Adrian had always lived in wealth (that is untill her moved in with his grandmother, who although she has money chooses to do things like she doesnt) Adrians Father, Adrian James MacDermott 3rd earned all his money by means of being a highly skilled Potions maker who created his own company called MacDermott potions Adrians Mother Simone (See-moan) Macdermott (originally from France) enjoyed cooking so much she convinced Adrian Sr. to open up a shop in town where she could make her food and sell his potions.

The Personality

Emotional Disposition: Adrian normally tries to put off a general mood of dissapointment but every once in a while his true and optimistic self comes out
Core Value: his true close friends would discribe him as Ambitious
Positive Characteristics: Ambitious, intelligent, indipendant, loyal, honorable
Negative Characteristics: selfish, judgemental and slightly conceited
Conflict and hardship: The bigest conflict in Adrians life currently is having to fight his grandmother about the chores she forces him to do. The only family secrets that Adrian is aware of is the fact that not all the ingrediants in his fathers potions are leagle or leagaly obtained.
Motivation, Passion and Drive: Adrian is driven by the constant messege of success his father has always pounded into his head, to Adrian to fail is highly dis-honorable, Adrians goals arent completely set yet, but he knows that he wants to be wealthy for whatever he chooses to do in life.
Motto or catchphrase: Adrian doesnt really have a motto but the one that would fit for him currently: Failure is not an option
Overall personality: Adrian has always been discribed by his friends and family as quirky, he has never done things the way others do but instead opts to find his own way around each problem, but this has always caused people to take an interest in him, and when they look closer at him they are able to see that his parents raised him to be unafraid of challanges and new things. They will also see that he can be quite selfish at times (so much so that he sometimes seemes to care for no one but himself) but for the most part people see him as somone who gets a great joy out of discovering new things.
Diary Entry: A short diary entry from any day of your character's life.
Dear Journal,

  Yesterday Father and Mother caught me playing with my toys in my room, this normally wouldnt be a bad thing but my toys happened to be about a foot off the ground without me touching them. Father told me that one day I would be able to do magic and he would be so proud when that day came, unfortunately when they caught me Father told me I would have to live with my Grand-Mother. Father didn't believe me when I told him they had walked in just after I had tossed the toys in the air, I finaly told them that I didn't want to go and live with a crazy old lady and father got mad and said I didn't have a choice. I still don't understand why he got mad when ive heard him call her the same thing. Perhaps I will ask Grand-Mother when I get there why he would get mad at me.

Dear Journal,

  Today I arrived at Grand-mothers house. She insists that I call her Gran, I had barely gotten all of my things to my room (which I had to carry myself, to the third floor) before she told me I had chores to do before supper tonight, well have to go clean out the chicken coops, at the rate this is going my entire stay here will be a living nightmare.

The Appearance

First Impression: when someone sees your character walking by, what would they think about them? Do they look a certain part, like neatfreak, slob, trying to look better than they are etc. When somone walks by Adrian they are most likely to see him as a well mannered young man who has been given almost anything he wanted in his life and lets it go to his head (when hes not around adults) he also tries very hard to look the part of where he comes from.
On Second thought..: for the most part yes it does
Overall Appearance: Adrian stand at 5'00" and wighs about 90 Lbs. His black hair is kept slicked back, has blue eyes but has to wear glasses do to being near sighted his skin over the last three years has become tanned with all the outside work, he has also picked up a small ammount of muscle definition from the chores. He always makes sure that outside of school dress he is in the best of clothes, typicaly he coud be found wearing a coat of velvet complete with his house animal (which every that will be)

The Family History

Parentage: Adrians Father: Adrian James MacDermott 2nd. is a wealthy wizard who made his money by starting up a company where he mass produces his own potions. He is a very ambitious and has taught his son to be the same way. Adrians mother Simone (see-moan) MacDermott who orriginaly came from france loves baking and has opened up her own pastery shop where she also sells Adiran Sr's. Potions
Siblings: Adrians parents decided shortly after having him that they were far to busy to take care of mor than one child.
Other important figures: The next most important person in Adrians life is his grandmother Elizabeth MacDermott who he is currently living with, she is different in the way that she has taught Adrian to take pride things that can be done by hand, things like Herbology and cleaning. She is also around more then his parents ever were able to be (even though she is slightly crazy)
Reputation: Adrians family is known well by other wizards in Ireland mostly because of his Father, but his Grandmother is more known by the neighbors around her as the crazy old woman who lives on the hill.
Secrets: it is a well hidden family secret that Adrian Sr's. potions are not made with completely leagle ingrediants, it has also been rumored that his grandfather on his mothers side has killed off he last five wives due to their inability to give him a son.

Wand: Adrians wand is 7 1/4 in. Yew Dragon Heartstring, nice and springy good for Transfigurations.
Pet: Adrian has never felt the need for a pet.

Specific Questions for Purebloods:

Are there any magical items in your house, how about a house elf? In his family home in Ireland they have four house elves and a number of different magical items sutch as brooms but at his grandmothers house she keeps most of her magical things under lock and key in the basement (which Adrian was forbidin to enter) and come to think of it Adrian has never seen his grandmother use a wand since he moved in with her.
How strict were your parents in enforcing no underage magic?His parents werent very strict about underage wizardry but his grandmother believes that no wizard should preform magic untill after they have been properly taught.
Are there any spells which are used a lot by your parents? Adrian primarily remembers his parents using spells like Wingaurdium Leviosa, and Lumos.
Has you character always known they were magical or did they worry they were a squib? Adrian worried untill he was seven that he would be a squib.
Does your character have any strong feelings (good or bad) about magic or is it just part of their life? Adrian has always accepted magic as somthing that would be in his life forever, even before he was able to use it he took it for granted, which made the switch to no magic at his grandmothers even harder.

Student Skills:

School Ethic: Adrian was taught by a home tutor from a young age before moving into his grandmothers house where she took to teaching him.
Teacher Relation: Adrian has always been told to treat teachers with respect and will most likely do so in class.
Work Ethic and Diligence: well as is the motto that best suits Adrian "Failure is not an option" he will due the work no matter what.
Subjects: Adrian is likely to work hard for transfigurations, Herbology, and Charms, but is less likely to strive in devination, history of magic, and potions (which is somthing he chooses to stay away from)
Where don't you want to be: Adrian would most like to be in either Slytherin or Ravenclaw, but least wants to be in Hufflepuff.
